Retired From Project ManagementAs of August 2020, I am retired from project management. For the last 27 years I’ve had the great pleasure of working with some of the finest people in a very diversified career. I’ve worked in human physiology research studying the effects of high pressure environments on the human body, and the use of non-invasive ultrasound to detect vascular disease; I worked as a product manager for medical capital equipment manufacturers; I consulted with an international telecom provider at the start of privatizing that country’s telecom industry; I was a manager in a Big 5 consulting firm managing the rollout of core enterprise systems; I worked on a project with Boeing to build out their engineering change management processes for the 787; there are many more – most of which don’t appear on my resume. I have been truly blessed in all this and relish all the professional and personal relationships I’ve developed over the years. I close this part of my career having worked for one of the most forward-thinking companies in the US, Canada, and Australia – TVI Inc. or Savers. I thank each and every person I worked with at Savers for your kind attention and support, especially this last year. It has been an extreme blessing to have worked for Savers.I’m not sure what’s in store for me moving forward but if the last 40 years is any indication there’s lots more to experience and do. But first – I’m going fishing! I pick up the boat in a few days. 😊
