After spending over 20 years with Howdens Joinery, I am now consistently recognised as a ‘Top 10’ manager within the North West by consistently exceeding forecasted sales. Other key achievements include, but are not limited to:• Producing the top sales per head within the business (over 670 branches) • Occasionally taking on the role of Area Manager in their absence and reporting to the Regional Manager• Objectively reconstructed six high risk branches to produce their highest turnover and trading profit within twelve months of management• Generating a 468% increase of trading profit and increasing sales by 82% within four years of management• Optimising and implementing an auditing system to increase productivity and 0% stock loss at eleven branches across the businessIn the day-to-day running of my branch, I am fully accountable for managing a £2 million budget and delivering or exceeding forecasted sales.
