As acting Site Safety Manager my duties are, but are not limited to, as follows: -Conduct required UPRR FRA 214 training and document all employees and subcontractors making sure they are current on Roadway Worker Training. -As Contractor Orientation Administrator I register all employees who complete training into the Contractor Orientation database for badging.-Assist in the reviewing and implementation of correct traffic control devices, review TCP's with project team and engineers and keep project within compliance to all ADA laws and regulations per MUTCD-CA and the Green Book.-Perform site inspections using the Griffith Company Safety MOJO/ iLoss Reporting Program. -Liaison with the Alameda Corridor-East (ACE) safety representative and make sure that all employees and subcontractors are in compliance with all federal, state county and local regulations as well as UPRR and the ACE Health and Safety Plan.-Review all subcontractor IIPP's and make sure that they are equal to or more stringent then the Griffith Company IIPP. -Review and document all Daily Task Hazard Analysis (THA) -Review and document all equipment inspections and report deficiencies to Equipment Manager.-Maintain Incident/Injury and Theft/Recovery logs.-Perform, document and maintain all training logs.-Document, maintain and post project OSHA 300 log.-Perform incident investigations as they occur and generate root cause analysis from investigation results.-Create a "Lessons Learned" using PowerPoint to show root cause analysis and what corrective actions must be taken to keep this incident/injury from happening again.-Review and document all "Near Miss" reports and look for existing or developing trends.
