I am responsible for the management of five risk rated model portfolios in terms of fund selection and asset allocation. I regularly meet with Fund Managers/Investment Houses for fund updates. I chair the quarterly Investment Committee meeting and give updates on portfolio position and performance update. I am responsible for buying and selling funds within the Model Portfolios and regularly update the buy and sell fund list. I carry out detailed qualitative and quantitative research of funds with more focus on performance metrics such as Beta/Alpha and Information ratio and also investment processes fund managers/houses use in managing their funds. I have good technical knowledge on Mutual Funds, Pensions, ISAs, Onshore & Offshore Bonds, VCTs and EIS. Managing and maintaining a robust investment proposition with the aim of simplifying the proposition and adding more mandates to the proposition.

At Howe Maxted, we run a Wealth Management Service alongside Financial Advisory to our clients. Within the Wealth Management we run five risk rated model portfolio ranging from Cautious to Speculative.Working alongside Client Portfolio Manager, I am responsible for quantitative and qualitative fund research and carrying out due diligence on new fund. In doing so i regularly meet with Fund Managers/Investment Houses for updates on funds and interrogate them over their research process and portfolio holdings. I assist the Portfolio Manager with the write-up of research notes, reports and portfolio holdings. Provide support material to Advisers as required and assist the administration team with any client performance queries.I sit in on the quarterly Investment Committee Meetings and action any out from from the meeting on the Investment Platform (wrap).Prepare Client reviews and assist in dealing process across multiple wrap platforms.
