As a Senior Business Leader, I have led and directed businesses to develop, and exceed, strategic objectives and have led successful sales efforts, achieving over $9bn in sales generating over $18m in new annual revenue.During my 25 years in investment management, the last 10 years of which were in senior management, I led the regional institutional sales effort and regularly researched and developed new strategies to help institutional clients achieve their goals.For the last 12 years, I have divided my time across three fields; management consulting, teaching, and community volunteering as a non-executive director. As a management consultant I have advised a broad variety of entities on the development of strategy and strategy execution, as well as mentoring and developing individuals. Clients include a regional bank, asset consultants, a superannuation fund, investment managers, industry bodies, event management businesses, artists and arts companies, education providers, and start-ups in hi-tech industries.I have been teaching for over 30 years at the tertiary and post-graduate levels, working for universities, superannuation and finance industry bodies, and private education institutions to teach subjects in business, finance, investment management, and strategy. In addition to teaching, I have researched and authored papers on finance, chapters for investment textbooks, blogs, and conducted research projects for public service organisations and finance entities.My community service work is through directorships in the arts, youth, sports, and financial services sectors, where I have successfully steered each entity to grow whilst reducing risk. I achieve these outcomes by leveraging my knowledge in strategy development and implementation, finance, business development, corporate governance, risk management, policy development, innovative investment strategies, mentoring, and learning management. I currently serve as Chair of the NSW Regional Council at FINSIA and Treasurer at Stalker Theatre.
