Managing the Limpopo branch, which includes management of workload, marketing, regular reporting to the shareholders regarding performance of the branch and prospective projects. Compiling tender documents and returnable schedules for the Limpopo Department of Public Works, Department of Education, Department of Health, and the Independant Development Trust (IDT), Receiving tenders and returnable schedules, tender evaluations, applying point systems and recommendations for the appointment of most suitable contractors. Preparing and signing of contract documents, priced bills of quantities, guarantees and site handovers.Normal quantity surveying duties(compiling estimates, bills of quantities, certificates, cost reports, final accounts, re-measurements on site etc) and on some projects, act as the principal agent and/or project manager, performing all associated duties (liason with client, chairing meetings, keeping minutes, addressing contractual matters monitoring performance of other professional consultants in the team.) as well as skills transfer to young and upcoming quantity surveyors and project managers.I am also very knowledgeable and experienced regarding public sector and government consultant Q.S. manuals, procedures and requirements, the JBCC, Procsa and GCC suite of documents and the SACQS tariffs schedules.
