Rental Sales Gallery Manager
As Manager of the Rental Sales Gallery, part of the prestigious Portland Art Museum, I am responsible for all aspects of running this commercial art gallery. This role covers sales, volunteer management, business management and ensuring that the Gallery supports the values and missions of Portland Art Museum as a whole. RSG was founded more than 60 years ago to showcase the talented artists of the Pacific Northwest. All these years on, the mission remains the same, with us representing more than 200 outstanding artists from across Oregon and Washington State, working in all mediums and styles.

Rental Sales Gallery Supervisor
The Rental Sales Gallery is part of the prestigious Portland Art Museum and has, for 60 years, given members of the public opportunities to buy and rent artworks created by some of the finest artists of the Pacific NorthWest.As Gallery Supervisor, I assisted the Director, managing the distribution of the collection and supporting the volunteer team that is at the heart of RSG. I managed the relationships with the artists, supported our renters/buyers, oversaw financial transactions and lead on the marketing of the gallery.

I was responsible for the marketing of the museum and grounds, together with the communication with members of the public and our partners. The role contained both reactive and strategically-planned elements, from communicating with members of the public and answering inquiries through the social media feeds, to developing and writing marketing materials and press releases, overseeing advertising campaigns, preparing print runs and managing communication about events with members of the museum's team.
Exhibition Project Officer
My role was to oversee the delivery of the 'Making Woolwich' exhibition project. This exhibition, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Royal Artillery Museums Limited, saw the creation of a brand-new permanent exhibition in the Greenwich Heritage Centre, Royal Arsenal Woolwich. To support this core part of the project, I also managed the creation of a new KS2 STEM-focused educational workshop and the creation of a wayfinding app.This exhibition was developed with a whole new, public engagement-focused methodology, using both the expertise and opinions of the public to create an exhibition about the 300-year history of the Royal Regiment of Artillery in Woolwich.I was responsible for all facets of delivering this project, working with other RGHT staff and a range of external consultants.

I managed the museum documenting and presenting the history of The Royal Logistic Corps, the largest, and one of the most important, regiments in the modern British Army.The museum is based on the Princess Royal Barracks in Camberley, Surrey and holds a substantial collection of objects and archival material relating to the RLC and its five Forming Corps.As well as managing the current museum, I was a leading member of the team overseeing a major project to move all of our collections of objects, archive and vehicles to a new site and create an entirely new museum.
Acting Heritage Centre Manager
I was responsible for managing all aspects of the Heritage Centre, from staffing to budget management to the development and management of the collections and archives. I also oversaw the exhibition programme, including a prestigious exhibition developed with The Royal Photographic Society.As well as this, I was a member of the management team that oversaw the creation of the new Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust (a charitable trust) and the transfer of the Heritage Centre and all of its staff into it.
Collections & Access Officer
Working out of Greenwich Heritage Centre, I managed the exhibition programme for the Council's Museum Service.I also developed and instigated a project to re-document the entire stored collection held by Greenwich Heritage Centre and prepare a full and accurate inventory.
Exhibition Officer
My main responsibility was developing temporary exhibitions for display in both the two principal exhibition galleries at Preston Park Museum & Grounds. These included both exhibitions developed from the museum's collections and working with external artists and specialists.I was also a member of the team that redeveloped the museum as part of a major Heritage Lottery Fund-supported project, which successfully renewed the museum and resulted with it being shortlisted for the prestigious Museum of the Year award.
Collections & Access Officer
I managed both the object collections and exhibition programme for North East Lincolnshire Council Museum Service.I was also a member of the mangement teams for both the Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre and the wider Cultural Services organisation.
