Competent police executive who exercises sound judgment, tactical decision making, emotional intelligence, and compassionate leadership to ensure annual budgets, internal investigations, and media management are performed at the highest level of integrity, competence, and professionalism.I have 41 years of experience that has allowed me to gain a broad perspective in every level of Public Safety, including all phases of patrol, investigations, field training, supervision, budget, personnel issues, and payroll. I have served effectively as a patrol officer, field training officer, sergeant, commander, division chief and chief of police. I have also had the opportunity to work with individuals and groups from every area of the community, as well as with government officials, business owners, men and women in the professions and people of all ages. My vision for Public Safety is to provide an environment in which all people feel safe and secure, and to maintain a professional workforce that is responsive to the community and accountable for the most effective use of resources.
