Managing a team of 3 to deliver high performing and secure devices complete with operating system and desktop applications developed in house. As a continuation of my previous role, maintain and support the Active directory and group policies. Administer and support the vSphere and Hyper-V solutions. Administer and support SCCM. Specify and procure all IT equipment, including mobile devices to facilitate the upcoming MDM solution of Microsoft InTune.

Design and implementation of high availability web solutions such as SharePoint, design and implementation of SCCM server and providing ongoing administration. Design and maintenance of the Active directory, complete with group policies to ensure the estate was compliant/secure using MSFT and NCSC templates. Packaged applications via MSI and scripts, also via APP-V sequencer and server.

Assisted in the design and build the council's data center, use of vSphere and Hyper-V to maintain the estate and also provide training environments. Designed and developed a SharePoint farm for use as BwDBC’s main website and business solution platform. Produced architecture designs, designed and implemented a Windows 8.1 image for delivery via SCCM including a kiosk build for libraries with unified write filter abilities. Designed an implemented the organizations Windows 7 and MS office automation. And managed complex relationships with key project stakeholders within the council and third party suppliers.

Optimize business performance through the identification and implementation of improved working practices supported by the use of IT. Create and define SLA’s within the council and also with 3rd Party suppliers. Prepare for and facilitate the re-introduction of an IT dept. to BwDBC from the third party supplier. To advise and support other business areas with implementation of bDirect solutions as these are rolled out across the council. Co-ordinate training requirements for bDirect applications via suppliers or undertake training for those applications developed in house.
