I am a proven thought leader with over thirty years experience developing early markets and leading through innovation. I am recognized as a visionary strategist that combines business, technology, and operational strengths through hands-on, detail oriented leadership.My current work in sustainable energy builds on extensive experience in market development and the infrastructure transformation resulting from deregulation. Following a 17-year career in the telecommunications and computing industries, I was the founder and CEO of the Sun Farm Network, a pioneering solar power development company that introduced some of the first solar financing solutions in the industry in 2002. I have worked closely with NJ policy makers for over a decade to develop the sustainable energy market in NJ, while also contributing to development of the industry itself. I am a frequent speaker at local, national, and international events, and I have served on numerous sustainable energy panels and working groups nationwide. I served on the board of directors for the regional solar industry association (MSEIA) for four years, and was the NJ-chapter president in 2007. I have received several awards for his contributions to the solar industry including the NJ BPU’s Market Leader Award for Innovation in 2008, and for Inspirational Leadership by GreenFaith in 2007. I currently serve as the Director of Energy at the Sustainability Institute at The College Of NJ, providing direct support for Sustainable Jersey. My work focuses on accelerated adoption of sustainable energy solutions in NJ and beyond, with an emphasis on energy efficiency, renewable energy, alternative vehicles, and advanced infrastructure topics such as energy storage, resiliency, and grid integration.
