I have programmed in COBOL, PL1, VBA, VB.NET, LotusScript, and in 2010 I was in a 14 week class to learn JAVA/Websphere. I now coordinate Big Data training in the HADOOP environment. I'm also skilled in SharePoint and SharePoint Designer.I started teaching at IL Central College (ICC) in January 1996, and if I could do this full time, I'd gladly give up my career. I love teaching!!!!! Midstate College in Peoria found out about my teaching background and knowledge in Java, they asked me to come in for an interview in 2013, where I have been the lead Java instructor until they closed their doors in 2019. I was asked to teach Python at IL Wesleyan University for 2 semesters but they really wanted a day time instructor. Specialties: Teaching/talking in front of Large groups. I have performed Stand-up comedy on three occasions (I was asked to do this for a few charitable benefits).
