Driving response readiness to manage critical incidents, directing emergency preparedness, business continuity deployment and implementation. Managing activities to support a wide range of organisational functions, including the Counter Terrorism ‘Prepare’ strand. This includes testing, exercising and seeking continuous improvement to ensure resilience around response to local, regional, and national threats.I chair several strategic boards, providing expertise and guidance on developing and delivering London-centric and joint national responses. Particular achievements include:• Led on developing business continuity plans for a London-wide power outage, encompassing recovery strategies; created a metric assessment to identify critical MPS infrastructure estate.• Designed and delivered the Tactical Coordination Protocol for London, enhancing London's emergency response through successful collaboration with numerous external agencies.• Led the 'Grey IT Estate' assessment across all business groups, identified vulnerabilities with a risk of an estimated £92m, steered and influenced the corporate evaluation of the systems securing an estimated £10m saving.• Developed and managed national disaster recovery exercises, coordinating essential resources: and reporting outcomes to executive management and government departments.
