Geospatial Analysis II - Create detailed mapping products for Intelligence Analyst using a variety of methods. Responsibilities included pulling data from All source analyst reporting to create a visual display of activities in a given area. Help write narratives for Intelligence products being briefed to high level officials. Create, update, and maintain data from a variety of sources. Disseminate data over classified networks for forward deployed personnel to use through the NGIC's Internet Mapping Service (IMS). Maintain over 40 individual sites that outside clients could manipulate, query, and pull data. Track monthly production stats of our team to report to the government manager. Train new team members on NGA standardization of map products. Coordinate with IT to manage our groups computer problems, software requirements, and managing the IMS after hours. Coordinated conferences and created registration for clients through a share point site. Tested beta software packages and tools to verify they ran properly on different types of computers before being loaded on analyst boxes. Reviewed resumes for potential new hires. Attended conferences to create new relationships, discover new technologies, and to find out what directions the Intelligence community was moving in.
