Department: Case Initiation• Handles inquiries from the public by letter, telephone, live chat, email, or in-person and furnishes the proper information or directs examination to the appropriate source• Simplifies and explains court procedures verbally and written for the public, based on their specific situation and needs• Initiates requests for driving and criminal records• Responds to requests for information from the Municipal Court Judge, Municipal Prosecutor, public safety officers, attorneys, and the public on pending cases' facts, circumstances, and status• Conducts research and correctly formats gathered information to complete Open Records Request, all within ten days• Enters data for Traffic, Parking, and Class C citations with an error margin of less than 2%• Updates all information on all open cases to ensure that the court remains transparent and has all the correct information available for Judges, attorneys, and the public• Begin the starting processes for incident reports for the County prosecutor• Receives and processes motions, orders, complaints, and waivers• Recalls warrants• Maintains all records for the required six years• Destroys and properly disposes of all documents once the required six years of keeping all information is up• Completes all reports and forms required by the state and local agencies, including the Prosecutor• Receives, logs, and indexes incoming filings, citations, and complaints.• Prepares correspondence and maintains records• Accepts, receipts, and accounts for all court fines and fees and disburses cash and bonds• Responsible for opening every single case to ensure the court can run successfully • Traditional administrative duties
