As the combat stress recovery program manager, I supervise six combat stress recovery program specialists, in various geographic locations. Manage the Combat Stress Recovery program which includes the budgeting, planning, coordination, and execution of Project Odysseys. Project Odyssey is an outdoor experiential learning program that allows warriors to challenge themselves both physically and mentally while in a supportive environment while developing resiliency and psychological well-being. Ensuring that the team has the necessary resources to meet the program expectations, and that the combat stress recovery program specialist, completes regular follow-up with Project Odyssey participants. As the Transition Training Academy (TTA) Instruction Manager, I had been responsible for the oversight of the Wounded Warrior Project technical instructors assigned to the TTA training sites. Ensuring the integrity and growth of the TTA program by working strategically and collaboratively to meet ambitious but achievable program goals, by overseeing all aspects of TTA program sites, maintaining the standards of administrative functions within the Learning Management System and related databases. Train, supervise, develop, and evaluate Transition Training Academy Instructor staff, administer programs that support the success of TTA students while developing new and maintain existing relationships with site liaisons and community partners.
