Throughout my time as an Assistant District Attorney, I successfully managed multiple dockets to ensure that our division has maximum effect on the community within the unique procedural constraints imposed on Bernalillo County by State law. This role also encompassed the management of metrics for preliminary hearings and establishing accountability for narcotics prosecution, while also assisting other prosecutors in trial practice and docket management. Served in the Gang Crimes Division prosecuting organized criminal activity in felony cases that run the full criminal gamut from simple assault and battery to murder. My legal practice emphasizes sensitivity to fair play and a heightened awareness of serving the public good, and it has manifested itself in my work and in my work with others.
