Working closely with the Proposal Manager, other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and the proposaldevelopment team the Proposal Writer Creates compliant and compelling proposal content inresponse to state and Federal Government solicitations. Identifies relevant material through internaland external research. Interviews technical subject matter experts, resume candidates, andaccount/program teams for Past Performance citations. Coordinates with corporate functional leadsand closely interacts with the business development and capture teams. Collaborates with theCapture Manager and/or Proposal Manager and participates in discussions to identify proof points tovalidate our key strengths. Participates in content planning and proposal design sessions to identifyand articulate the win strategy in the form of strengths and differentiators. Translates informationcollected into a compliant and compelling proposal response that clearly aligns with the solicitationinstructions and evaluation criteria. Contributes to the Content Development and ProposalResponsibilities of the Volume Lead (technical, management, past performance cost, or other)include:· Design, schedule, and manage the generation of a major proposal product.· Identify data needed for compliance with RFP and to support the Win Strategyand ensure win strategies, themes, and messages are adequately conveyed in theStoryboards are presented in a pink team review.· Develop detailed schedules for the development of the content of the volume, inconjunction with the proposal schedule.· Work with proposal team to identify features and benefits of Peraton’s solution.· Coach, mentor and provide on-the-job training to authors; and frequently reviewin-process products to provide qualitative recommendations to continuallyimprove them.· Maintain schedule and communicate problems and potential problems early tothe proposal manager.
