In my role as an Attractions Attendant for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, guest safety and customer service are top priorities. Duties include loading and unloading passengers, checking ride restraints, providing safety instructions, and assisting guests with special access including guests with disabilities, VIP tour groups, and high profile guests. Additionally, I communicate with guests and anticipate their needs to enhance their overall vacation experience. I help maintain clean and safe work environments, interact positively with guests, and understand and demonstrate proper procedures for appropriate actions. I must also maintain consistency with theming to my specific attraction as well as the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Universal Orlando Resort. I collaborate with fellow Team Members, Leads, and Supervisors to ensure optimal team and venue performance. Additionally, I am a part of the Guest Satisfaction Committee to improve ways our venue can provide exceptional customer service.

Through my personal business, I capture photos and produce videos for clients to use for commercial and personal use. I manage my website and social media channels in order to engage current clientele and reach new audiences. I maintain a line of correspondence with current and potential clients through multiple forms of communication including client management software to develop stronger relationships as well as with collaborators and second shooters. I lead and second shoot on weddings, engagements, graduate, portrait, and other shoots. Additionally, I produce content for other creatives and influencers to use on their social media platforms, following their brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive image while also keeping up with new trends. I have learned how to plan, script, light, and shoot in multiple situations. I edit using Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Effects for various styles and shoots. Additionally, I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design graphics for my business and for clients.

As the Technology Chair, I worked alongside 15 other Executive Board members and 5 Management Directors to develop a year-long movement of events and fundraising for Children's Miracle Network and FSU's Pediatric Outreach Program. I led and oversaw a team of five coordinators and 10+ captains to spread awareness of Dance Marathon at Florida State through engaging videography, photography, and a website. I kept track of the high-volume workload my team was in charge of as well as their fundraising through Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. I collaborated with fellow members to brainstorm, plan, shoot, edit, and understand the needs of each project and effectively translate them into viable, yet powerful final products that were in accordance with the style guides and branding of the organization. I also helped develop and produce compelling content, PowerPoint presentations, assets, and activities for the 40-hour fundraising event that hosted over 2,000 participants.

Responsibilities include documenting any and all events by camera, producing videos for the organization, and assist in raising money/spreading awareness for Children’s Miracle Network; involved with Dance Marathon fundraising event that took place in February 2016.

Resident Assistants (RAs) provide consistent daily leadership to a floor of 30+ undergraduate students in a residence hall on campus. RAs respond to the academic, personal, and emotional concerns of residents in a timely fashion. They also work effectively both individually and as a collaborative contributor to the team. Another goal is to assess resident needs, plan, execute and evaluate interactive and developmental programs to facilitate resident growth in responsible citizenship, learning, appreciation of differences, personal wellness, and involvement.

Orientation Leaders (OLs) guide and orient First Time in College, Transfer students, and their family members to the Florida State University. OLs lead groups of 30+ students and families throughout the orientation process. They gain knowledge about various campus resources to help direct participants and develop leadership skills through a 3 credit hour peer leadership course, a two week training, and during the orientation sessions.
