Responsible for protecting the Assets of the company including: The people, Members and Associates; the facility; the fixtures; and, the merchandise.A key player in driving profitable growth through Retail Excellence by: - Integrating with other departments to educate on Critical Operating Procedures, standards and policy enforcement, and being cohesive team members - Decreasing and managing Shrink levels - Manages Safety program for the company at the store level to provide a safe, secure experience for our members and a safe work environment for our Associates - Drives compliance on local, state, federal regulatory agencies policies and regulations - Conducts Internal and External Investigations - Enforces Merchandise Protection standards - Trains, coaches and mentors Associates in Asset and Profit Protection policies and procedures - Build and maintain relationships with Law Enforcement and other retailers to share information on retail crime and theft in order to pursue successful prosecution of those conducting theft - Utilizes a suite of Dishonesty Applications in order to deter internal theft and identify areas of profit drain due to policy violation or to identify gaps in process to help close them - Responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of overt and covert in-store surveillance capabilities: remote surveillance using CCTV and other video capabilities; physical surveillance on the sales floor; and, leveraging an educated staff to identify potential dishonesty and theft- Updates and maintains Emergency Action Plan for the store in accordance with company policy; educates staff on Emergency Response procedures for myriad scenarios- Wicklander-Zulawski Non-Confrontational Interview Certified.
