As the IT manager for the company, the design, implementation and support of the IT infrastructure were primary duties. The company grew from under 20 employees to over 130 world wide.

Area contact for multiple technology design sites. Responsible for supporting PC and Unix hardware, local windows servers, unix infrastructure, backup and recovery services, and helpdesk services.

Perform local administration of compute infrastructure, backup and recovery and helpdesk services for the Austin area.

Designed, implemented and supported the network, systems and services for a growing semiconductor company. Acted as the primary contact for A to Z functions in IT for Luminary Micro.

Provided onsite site support for an office of ~100 people covering phones, network, server and desktop PC h/w, helpdesk, Email (Exchange and sendmail), Unix/Linux System h/w, Remote Access, WAN links, and data storage.*Design, development and implementation of web based inventory management system. An inventory XLS conversion to a web based system. Resulting in multi-user access, improved usability, and better search capabilities. This project was not assigned, a need was seen and this project was initiated.*Implementation and maintenance of the data center. A conversion from tables to racks for reduced footprint and improved usability.*Support extended into world wide support for nearly all services provided by the site. *Proposed, designed, and implemented the first company local loop for remote access. The local loop reduced latency by 20%, increased reliability, reduced MPLS loads, and saving 24k/yr over MPLS bandwidth increases
