Mark C. Jensen is Of Counsel in Nutter’s Litigation Department and a member of the firm’s Securities Enforcement and Litigation practice group. A seasoned securities lawyer, Mark primarily advises and represents clients on issues arising under the federal securities laws: Securities Act (’33 Act), Securities Exchange Act (’34 Act), and Investment Company Act (’40 Act) and Investment Advisers Act. Mark also represents business clients in evaluating and asserting claims under corporate general liability, professional liability and directors and officers insurance policies. In addition, Mark provides risk management advice to fiduciaries for ERISA and non-ERISA retirement plans. Prior to joining Nutter, Mark was Vice President, Associate General Counsel of one of the leading financial services companies, focusing on litigation and investigations involving securities law and ERISA issues. He also has extensive experience providing advice on legal and compliance issues of investment advisers, mutual funds and fixed and variable insurance products. In addition, he served as primary counsel on the company's claims under its corporate E&O liability and directors and officers insurance policies.
