As a Business Analyst I am responsible for ensuring the needs of the business and our customers are met by the internal and external provision of IT systems and services.The key activity of my role is to gather requirements and perform analysis to ensure the efficient design of the IT solution, collaborating with developers and stakeholders (internal and external) in order to meet those requirements in the most efficient way.As part of the role I will manage the release process, ensuring that all releases are delivered in a quality and timely way by documenting testing and results, including the release process itself.My previous role as a training manager has proven invaluable in giving me confidence to present ideas, new systems and new releases as well as providing a unique perspective on the user experience.

As Systems Training Manager at AdviserPlus I ensure best practice system use and manage our quality team. I work as part of the Business Information and Implementations department where my role is integral to the great Management Information we provide our clients. Key activities for me and my team are: devising and facilitating training programmes, systems review and system configuration. The team also have an overall responsibility for data quality which feeds our client’s management information.

The key responsibility of the role was to support the implementation of the government’s Extended Schools (ES) Programme. The programme is designed to support learning and promote healthy lifestyles engaging schools with the local community. My duties included collection and collation of information in order to determine which schools met the extended services whole core offer. I would also liaise between schools and other agencies to support effective communication between different services (privately and government funded) in the community. In 2008 my remit was developed to include supporting Wirral Well-Being in schools and becoming a member of the Wirral Teacher Recruitment Team. My Well-being officer duties allowed me to run workshops for teachers to demonstrate the importance of well-being for job satisfaction. Being part of teacher recruitment involved maintaining a recruitment “Talent Pool” and providing a helpline to Wirral NQT’s. As part of my role I attended and ran a table at various recruitment fairs.
