Environment Victoria is one of Australia’s leading non-profit environment groups working to safeguard our environment and the future.I was privileged to lead the organisation for nearly 5 years, working with a great team to deliver inspiring and impactful campaigns and communications, and to complete the organisation's transition from reliance on.

Strengthened and focussed the organisation's campaigns, and led fundraising efforts to increase investment in campaign activities with a particular focus on Major Donor fundraising. In this role I was the primary media spokesperson for the organisation and was named by The Age newspaper as one of the 100 most influential people in Victoria.

Led Greenpeace's renewable energy campaigns and supported the establishment of the first wave of climate action groups across the country. Also led Greenpeace's work on coal power station retirement with a focus on Hazelwood. Helped secure state renewable energy targets and in 2007, an increased national renewable energy target.

Worked with Aboriginal landowners across the Top End to install solar power on remote homelands, replacing expensive and polluting diesel generators. A great experience!

Led the Centre's ultimately successful work with traditional owners to stop the Jabiluka uranium mine from proceeding in Kakadu, and prevented large scale landclearing in the Daly Basin and other regions. Successfully campaigned for the establishment of an NT Environment Protection Authority. Grew the organisation.
