I joined Webreality in 2007 as Digital Marketing Director and became a shareholder in 2011. I have been instrumental, with my fellow shareholders, in the growing the business and improving profitability. Our 200+ clients range from start-up businesses to international organisations, spanning sectors as diverse as finance, legal, business services, utilities, property, hospitality, e- commerce and non-profit.We have a particular focus on four sectors in which we have a strong reputation and notable experience: hospitality, finance and legal, real estate, and auction houses.Our business is all about providing long term support, and we're very proud of our ability to retain our clients in the ever-changing world of digital strategy.

2006 saw the launch of www.exerciseequipment.co.uk and so my digital marketing career began. I'd created the supplier relationships through setting up the Fitness Agency and although technically they were completely separate businesses, due to effort put into managing supplier relationships, I successfully negotiated the same if not better credit terms. It quickly became evident that the larger established existing businesses such as Fitness Superstore (www.fitness-superstore.co.uk/) had a poor understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) and other forms of digital marketing. This allowed me the opportunity to disrupt the market by achieving first page and often position one listings within Google for popular and profitable terms such as "cheap treadmills". According to our supplier reps the competition were not happy as we did not have a retail outlet in the mainland UK. However they stood by us and I believe this was only due to the effort put into managing these relationships so carefully. This is a lesson I've not forgotten and it proves that excellent communication skills are essential to succeed. Throughout 2007 sales increased month on month with a turnover in excess of £50,000 during peak months.

At the end of 2005 my first business was born, 'The Fitness Agency'. Six months of planning, organising and hoop jumping were complete and so began an amazing journey that I'm still on today! The Fitness Agency was conceived with one purpose in mind. To create trusted supplier relationships to enable us to sell a full range of exercise equipment from top brands to the entire of the UK through a custom e-commerce platform. It became more than this though, as within the first year we had sold more Tunturi (http://www.tunturi.com/) product than both of the established Jersey retailers. This was a welcome surprise and a boost to my confidence in the potential of the business both locally and for the planned UK venture. During 2006 we continued to create new supplier relationships with the likes of Nautilus, one of America's most established exercise equipment manufacturers (http://www.nautilus.com/), and further cement our existing ones generating further record sales. This was no doubt due to a lot of hard work, exhibiting at local trade shows and focusing on ensuring that our customers requirements were catered for to the best of our ability. It was time! Webfit ltd was created and the domain www.exerciseequipment.co.uk was acquired. Webreality, who at this point I had no connection with, were instructed to create a fully customised e-commerce website to compete with the likes of the well established UK business with multi-million pound turnovers.
