Mark Francis is an educational leader, analyst and consultant. He is currently a Deputy Associate Superintendent at the arizona Department of Education and Poject director of the Arizona Charter Schools Program (AZ CSP), a $55 M federally supported grant to support the creation of new, high quality schools in Arizona. As founder and Executive Director of Arizona Schools for the Arts (ASA), he led the school to national prominence under his leadership. Since his retirement from ASA, he was recruited to serve the Arizona Charter Schools Association and the Arizona State University’s University Public Schools Initiative. A graduate of Augsburg College, Dr. Francis has advanced degrees in Music from the University of Washington and the University of Arizona. The U of A College of Fine Arts named him Outstanding Graduate Student and he also was awarded the University of Arizona Foundation, Meritorious Performance in Teaching.Specialties: Education leadership and Non-profit consulting
