Mark Hamilton is a partner specialising in employment and pensions. He has a wide ranging practice and is based in our Glasgow office. He joined MMS as a qualified solicitor in 1991, became an associate there in 1994 and was promoted to partner in 1998. On MMS's combination with Dentons, Mark became a partner in our People, Reward and Global Mobility team. He advises on all aspects of employment law including negotiating and terminating contracts, unfair dismissals, employee relations, redundancies, re-organisations and the transfer of employees under the Transfer of Undertakings Regulations (TUPE). He also represents clients, both employees and employers, in contentious matters and appears on their behalf in employment tribunals and in the Employment Appeal Tribunal. Mark also advises on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions and outsourcing arrangements as well as on the interaction of pensions and employment obligations.
