Project managing an exciting project aimed at reducing the impacts of health inequalities across a range of areas, with the aim of changing the needs for primary healthcare.

My experiences in this post were "generalist", covering everything from strategic overview and financial management through to day to day operational HR and staffing management.My main achievements in the role include:• Managing and monitoring the effective use of a £2.5 million budget, whilst creating healthy reserves• Managing 25 full time and 75 part-time staff; from recruitment through to exit, including introducing a new appraisal system • Developed new commercial… Show more My experiences in this post were "generalist", covering everything from strategic overview and financial management through to day to day operational HR and staffing management.My main achievements in the role include:• Managing and monitoring the effective use of a £2.5 million budget, whilst creating healthy reserves• Managing 25 full time and 75 part-time staff; from recruitment through to exit, including introducing a new appraisal system • Developed new commercial opportunities through franchising and outsourcing, including introducing the first Subway units in UK Universities• Project managed 2 new commercial builds, 2 refurbishment projects and a full organisational review, which delivered redundancies and new posts based on new structures• Managed two governance reviews, introducing new ways for members to engage in decision-making and ensuring the Union was fit for purpose • Led the move to become a registered charity; managing all relevant aspects of legal compliance• Prepared and delivered annual reports and audited accounts, as well as working with external partners to deliver 2 organisational audits• Led on creation of Trustee Board and initial recruitment of trustees• Managed the election process for 20 elections, including introducing new voting systems and overseeing a fair process• Created and delivered training sessions for all new full and part-time staff, democratic volunteers and other partners• Represented the Union by attending, and delivering sessions to internal and external partners; including Residents Associations and other community partners Show less
