With over twenty years of experience in global compliance, technical standards, and sustainability within the technology sector, I currently serve as the Director of Hybrid System & Peripheral Compliance at HP. My career has focused on meeting comprehensive technical compliance standards across EMC, safety, RF, and telecom regulations, while actively promoting environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives that contribute to corporate responsibility and innovation.At Poly, formerly known as both Plantronics & Polycom, I was central to developing and implementing an ESG strategy from the ground up. I aligned our practices with key sustainability frameworks including GRI, SBTi, and CDP, established Net-Zero GHG emissions targets, and managed the release of annual sustainability/CSR reports to clearly communicate our progress. In my current role at HP, I continue to weave these sustainability principles into our compliance efforts, ensuring our products are not only high-performing and fully compliant with technical regulations, but also environmentally friendly.I have led teams to achieve significant milestones in product lifecycle analysis, reducing carbon emissions, and improving sustainable product designs. This focus on sustainable initiatives underscores my belief in the importance of developing technologies that serve today’s needs without compromising future resources.In my leadership roles, I adopt a strategic approach, fostering team consensus and emphasising mentorship and team development.
