My current role is Senior Legal Counsel in the Legal, Contracts, and Consultancy Department at the Housing & Development Board (HDB) of Singapore. I graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and am qualified to practice in Singapore. In 2023, I obtained the Graduate Certificate of Intellectual Property & Technology Law from NUS. My primary scope of work is providing legal advice on Corporate and Intellectual Property (IP) matters to various stakeholders, including the review of tenders, general and collaboration agreements, and non-disclosure and data protection agreements. My advice on IP matters includes issues arising from Copyright, Trademarks, Patents, and Confidentiality. I also assist in managing a Patent portfolio comprising of more than 20 patents, including the management of their applications and renewals.My experiences include advising on tenders such as those for the appointment of Financial Institutions to issue bonds and appointment of valuers for valuation services. I have also advised on a wide variety of agreements on subjects ranging from cybersecurity services, User Experience (UX) studies, software licences, software developer services, management of smart devices, improvement of infrastructure site management, car park management, renewal of infrastructure, mobile application terms, competition terms, development of computer scripts, societal research studies, development of artificial intelligence systems, and video production, among others.
