"The first breaking club at San Jose State University".As the President of the King Library Rockers, my work focused heavily on the hip-hop and dance communities, where I helped establish the first breaking club on campus. During my 2 terms as president, I've grown the club from 20 to 50 members, organized monthly community events, and lead a team of 10+ dancers to the finals of an intercollegiate dance competition, 3 years in a row.

Mission: To Stick a Smile on Your FaceI scheduled and conducted interviews for potential employees and trained existing ones for growth opportunities towards management. In the past 3 years, I've worked with over 20 employees, 5 of which I've trained into management. I was also in charge of HR and administrative processes, which included reviewing financial and accounting statements as well as developing store labor and sales budgets through business monitoring on a weekly and monthly basis.

My role as a development intern involved cross-functional projects where I collaborated with professionals across the organization. Here, I worked with the development team in drafting grants, assisted in their annual gala, and created collateral to promote their service of partnering with public schools to keep students on track to graduate.
