As an IT person, my interests are computers and networking. I’m an energetic, communicative and technically educated person. I’m a team player and do not hesitate to take the lead when possible/necessary. On the other hand, I can also work independently. I work with a customer and solution-oriented mindset where the customer and quality are of utmost importance. I work accurately and tie up the loose ends, resolve, eliminate or transfer projects as needed before I start a new project or job. An exemplary anecdote heard at a farewell party from one of my projects, “Children become big and there is a time to let them go and let them go to become independent” sums up my belief. I don’t like to abort a project that is not (yet) independent. I think ahead and am able to estimate the necessary actions, see opportunities and act upon them. I continue thinking and find solutions to achieve results. I’m not afraid of changing situations and oversee part and/or the whole project. I take a proactive approach to work and dare to ask for assistance when necessary. Outside my work, my interests are sports (especially soccer and cycling), traveling, reading, music, theater and my personal Faith.
