About Mark Reading
I am a current student at Utah State University studying computer and electrical engineering. I am a fast learner and love trying new things. I enjoy coding, working with interconnected systems and problem solving. I have several years of experience with code, and have worked with several different languages including C and C++, Java, Python, and ARM Assembly. I also have a fair amount of web development experience through work, building a website front-end with PHP and JavaScript as well as processing and analyzing large amounts of data through an SQL database.I also work as a software engineering intern at FamilySearch International. As part of the Developer Platform team, we focus on building and maintaining the tools that underpin the back-end of the systems used by other engineers. Focus on Java and Python, and a small amount of front-end development. Experience working in teams and collaborative work on projects.
