During my ten-week remote internship with Wycliffe Bible Translators, I solely designed and produced a Python dashboard application used to analyze and display data relating to gift-giving and donations towards Wycliffe and its members. I designed the application so it would take in raw data from a database and be displayed through a series of user-generated graphs and maps, allowing the user identify patterns and trends in the data.

While working for MileSplit/FloSports, I was responsible for drafting, editing, and publishing news stories on the company’s web page related to high school track & field and cross-country meets around the state of Minnesota. I interviewed student athletes on training regimen and meet performance. I also filmed and edited videos pertaining to meets and interviews for viewers to watch and comment on. A couple of key highlights while in this role included:• Compiled critical information into a centralized website that provided the first-ever completed cross-country database specific to student athletes’ results. This resource included all meet results and statistics related to cross-country participants. Streamlined information for high school and college coaches to review and identify top performers from across the state. • Restructured the company’s website to allow for more accurate and up to date information that resulted in increasing subscriptions to the site and being recognized as the top producer across the country for the company for consistently exceeding annual subscription goals. Fulfilled short-term substitute assignments across all subject areas, effectively teaching middle school and high school of diverse cultural backgrounds. Instructed classes of as many as 30-35 students, communicated with teachers, administrators and parents, and built a positive rapport with students. Served as an assistant track & field coach, facilitating development and providing additional support, instruction, and communication with students and their parents in an athletic setting.
