As Co-Founder of Equip Products, Inc., I’ve turned a critical eye to the world of health and fitness, making it more inclusive for the differently abled.Our journey at Equip Products began with a call to action from a friend who suffered a spinal injury. Recognizing the lack of fitness equipment for individuals with varied abilities, we stepped up to the challenge. Today, our company is at the forefront of designing and producing equipment for athletes with disabilities including wheelchair users, those with limb differences, and more.My weekends are often on the front lines of adaptive fitness events, supporting and engaging with athletes and organizations. I’m deeply involved with groups like WheelWod, Adaptive Training Academy, and several veteran-focused organizations, all working towards a common goal of inclusive fitness.With WheelWOD, I’m focused on broadening the scope and impact of adaptive sports. Additionally, as a new board member of Team Some Assembly Required, a 501c3 Non-Profit, I’m committed to championing adaptive sports and athletes.My engagement with Justice Bid, particularly in the Operation Empowering Change initiative, underscores my commitment to the legal needs of the differently abled community. Here, I lead the charge in addressing specific challenges and opportunities in this sector.In every role, my objective is clear: to dismantle barriers and forge new paths in fitness and beyond, ensuring accessible and empowering opportunities for all individuals.

In order to facilitate this mission, the Corporation organizes and prepares teams of adaptive athletes across the United States to compete in various athletic and sporting events in order to inspire confidence, independence, and purpose among the participants. The Corporation provides funding, training, education, and expertise to adaptive athletes to prepare them for high-level competitions.

Xchanging led the charge in Software as a Service (SaaS), Procurement as a Service (PaaS), and Business Process Outsourcing (BPA). I had the privilege of introducing several fortune 100 companies to their software/services and learned a great deal about the intricacies of procurement and spend at a macro level. Xchanging was acquired by CSC, then HP and is now known as DXC Technology.

With twelve regional sales representatives I made it my daily mission to remove their roadblocks, set and hold them to their objectives, and drive the growth of the company.

Over the course of twelve years you are offered a lot of opportunities in a family run business. While Ferno is a dominant force in the EMS market place domestically, they are also in ninety-two countries. I was exposed to countless domestic and international opportunities at Ferno and am grateful for all the responsibilities I was given. We were able to excel in many markets not the least of which was the Domestic Preparedness and Homeland Security sectors where we grew by twenty-percent year over year for six years.

The Cryogenics Division of Essex Industries was in a transition when I became the Director. We utilized our capabilities in the Aerospace sector and looked for ways to advance our manufacturing processes to the commercial sector. Responsible for the design, implementation, and sales of Liquid Oxygen Systems in EMS Marketplace and changed the way ground and air ambulances administered oxygen to their patients.

As the onsite representative for the C-17 program in the St. Louis division (MCAIR), I represented the interests of McDonnell-Douglas Long Beach as we moved major sub-assemblies and components of the program to achieve an on-time schedule. Consistently exceeded our goals and achieved significant major milestones for the company and customer.

Had the privilege of working in the Finance Department in and around such programs like the F-18, F-5, F-20, B-2, 747, and so much more. Rapidly promoted within the division and consistently took on responsibilities and challenges to advance my learning and career.
