I maintained a popular website (www.sinjinsolves.com) that was host for my collection of 30+ strategy guides I wrote during this period of time. It later expanded to include content for select computer and video games, product reviews, and general industry information. In addition to designing all of the websites featured at Sinjin Solves, I also managed a small group of freelance contributing authors and was responsible for project scheduling and all finalized online content. This was a subsidiary site of MPOG, which spun-off into its own entity in January 2001.

This position was responsible for over 300 workstations in the county government offices, courthouse, and satellite facilities with 14 departments reporting directly to me. Specialized duties include user training, and general technical writing and documentation for county software and systems as well as internal and external website design and online communication security for sensitive government data.

During my time with MPOG I wrote hardware and software reviews and feature articles dealing with the computer and home console gaming industry. I served as forum host and moderator for several multiplayer gaming forums. I also covered the 1999-2000 E3 shows doing live reports and interviews with key industry leaders.

I took over administrative operations for a 40-node network for this architectural firm in 1995. During my employment with the Troyer Group I successfully tripled the size of our Novell network to 120+ users in three locations across the country including Chicago and Virginia branch offices. Implemented NT Exchange Server with Web Outlook, and a FTP site to allow employees to work offsite. I also designed our corporate website (www.troyergroup.com), nominated for 1997 and 1998 Architectural Website of the Year. Developed Network Manual, User Handbooks, and co-wrote office standards and policies. Designed Backup Solutions for File and Email Servers and Disaster Recovery Plans for all three offices.

Designed and setup a 15-user LAN for small architectural firm. I specified software and hardware solutions for a variety of applications and maintained the day-to-day operations of the network. Handled all of their FTP, BBS, and Internet needs for feedback and customer support.

Assisted lead game designers and design team during all phases of game design, analyzed game concepts and play-tested alpha versions of various builds then prepared detailed summary reports for various stages during the game design process. I worked on nearly a dozen titles including Space Quest, Kings Quest, Police Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, and Quest for Glory, communicating ideas between the design team, artists, programmers, and musicians in various studios. I also worked on the launch of TSN.
