  • Jmg Security Systems, Inc.
    Fire Alarm Systems Inspector
Jmg Security Systems, Inc. Jan 2013 - Oct 2013
    Fountain Valley
o As a Fire Alarm Systems Tester & Inspector, I was responsible for operating with minimal supervision while performing fire protection inspections and 24-hour service calls. During the inspection process I was responsible for inspecting, testing and documenting the results for high tech. and high dollar sprinkler systems, cross connection devices, suppression systems, pre-action systems and fire Pumps. I gained a strong working knowledge of fire sprinkler testing devices during my time with this company. Many times, I had to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing high ladders and scaffolding, in addition to, high lift equipment, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. I was held accountable for the independent scheduling of appointments, conduction of inspection, and presentation of results to a high volume clientele archive, which required daily interaction and collaboration with the customers that really helped me improve my outstanding customer service skills. During my time spent at JMG Security Systems Inc. I became very proficient with analyzing blueprints and schematics of large buildings and other structures and gained a thorough level of knowledge for all NFPA requirements, local fire codes, and inspection procedures.
  • Neany, Inc.
    Special Operations Aerostat Surveillance Specialist
    Neany, Inc. Oct 2011 - Jan 2013
    Zabul, Afghanistan
o As an Aerostat Operator/Intelligence Specialist for Neany Inc. I was responsible for normal day-to-day and emergency operations for the 22m and 28m T-Com Aerostat. With this job, came the responsibility of collecting, processing, and presenting intelligence data produced from the Persistent Ground Surveillance System to high-ranking government officials in addition to analyzing and recording classified intelligence information in support of the US Military’s tactical operations in Afghanistan. I performed routine maintenance, preflight, post flight and daily inspections on all PGSS gear and equipment to ensure that maximum system readiness and system capabilities were met so that the entire system itself would perform properly in a time of need and lead to a successful mission. The team and I were accountable for the safe and successful launch, flight, and recovery operations of the 22m and 28m aerostat every single day of the year, weather permitting, of course. During inclement weather, we would recover the Aerostat and commence into routine maintenance, which could not be done while the aircraft was aloft. During my time with Neany I acquired an excellent ability to troubleshoot, brainstorm, and problem solve information technology issues on highly technical and very high valued equipment within the PGSS system. Lastly, as part of my roles and responsibilities, I had to undergo a metrological training course at the PGSS training facilities in Yuma, Arizona, which was specific for the type of unmanned aircraft that I would be flying. After completion of said course, I was then responsible for collecting, and analyzing meteorological data on a daily basis in order to perform safe flight operations in a combatant country.
