Partnering with all Departments to develop all business processes that impact material flow throughout the plant.

Development & direction of 20+ person team with responsibilities over receiving, inspection, and distribution. On a monthly basis receipt of $2million in inventory and distribution of $6million of inventory comprised of make to stock finished goods, make to order finished goods, and repair components. Operations Management mentor providing support on lean manufacturing initiatives to multiple value streams.

Selection, development, and direction of a team of Supervisors, Production Planners, and Warehousing Associates in a high mix low volume manufacturing facility. Primary Operations liaison with Sales and Marketing; analyzing market trends and providing Operations support for new product launches. Inventory Management and Operations budgeting ownership. Ensure team’s compliance to the Stryker Quality System, FDA, and ISO13485 standards and regulations while delivering greater than 98.5% on-time delivery.

Selection, development, and direction of a team of Production Planners, Purchasing Agents, and Warehousing Associates for the Stryker Instruments cutting accessories division. Accountable for sales forecasting of over 3,000 finished SKU’s. Develop and manage a $7million inventory budget. Executing annual cost standards on purchased goods and conducting price negotiations across an international supply chain. Ensure team’s compliance to the Stryker Quality System, FDA, and ISO13485 standards and regulations while delivering greater than 98.5% on-time delivery.

Selection, development, and direction of a team of salaried & hourly associates. Day to day operations of the Stryker Instruments franchise business unit accounting for 80% of the North American heavy duty instrumentation market. P&L/Financial management and reporting with a focus on controlling fixed and variable costs.

Selection, development, and direction of a team of salaried & hourly associates. Day to day operations of the Micro Business Unit focused on delivering quality products on-time to the neurological, spine, and ENT market. P&L/Financial management and reporting with a focus on controlling fixed and variable costs.

Supervised a multi-shift precision CNC machine shop made up of 4 shop floor supervisors and 57 skilled machinists. Day to day production requirements to support four Stryker Instruments assembly units. Capacity analysis combined with personnel and capital investment decision making to ensure on-time delivery. Implementation of lean manufacturing practices across the shop floor.

Supervised a 34 person team made up of 3 production supervisors and 31 assembly associates. Execution of daily production schedules to support the neurological, spine, and ENT market. Labor variance and efficiency responsibility. Ensure the production personnel are adequately trained and compliant to the Stryker Quality System, FDA, and ISO13485 standards and regulations.

Market analysis and sales forecasting for over 250 finished assemblies. Daily production plans to support customer demand and the Micro Unit inventory budget. Demand forecast coordination with Sales and Marketing, Purchasing, and Production on all new product launches. R&D prototype support.
