Specifically my role was to lead an amalgam of duties carried over from the prior COE role within the Practices division that ran professional services with the 'industrialised' product focus of Global Products.Due to the size of the divisional reshuffle the group's function was dynamic, providing reporting to the CEO leadership team, extending and developing relationships with other business units such as the CTO and improving customer advocacy by reshaping the product development process to be agile and market driven.I was made redundant mid year as the group purpose was redefined prior to EOFY. These primitive systems were stabilised and rapidly ported to PHP for manageability and ease of locating PHP developers. The result was a suite of integrated applications that cover complete client management from accounting to automated server management of our client’s hosting accounts. Through developing server automation systems I became increasingly involved with projects relating to our web services platform and infrastructure, resulting in being assigned to drive the Platform Development initiative. I have gained extensive experience in the gamut of Linux web hosting, being the lead engineer of a secure network that handles twenty thousand web hosting clients on a range of cutting edge clustered services.
