During the time of my procurement education I accomplished two internship periods at Volvo Car direct material procurement. My role was to be a project and purchase assistant during a large in-sourcing project. Furthermore I worked as a product buyer with own responsibilities and negotiations >0,5M€. Between the internship periods I got the opportunity to work as a part time product buyer. At this time I did extensive benchmarking of supplier capacity and supplier ability to buy resin material, finding new ways towards cost reductions. Lastly I created a tool enabling purchasers to do fast complex calculations during negotiations.

This was a cooperation between the marketing bureau PS Communication, Volvo Car Group & Volvo Group. I followed the Race around the world as a global host and product demonstrator. I represented Volvo Car group and Volvo Group during all the stopovers (Alicante, Cape Town, Abu Dhabi, Sanya, Auckland, Itajai, Miami,Lisabon, Lorient, Galway)During this time I performed guided tours around the "race village", demonstrated products and answered to questions about Volvo brand/products and Volvo ocean race.
