I was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon and have enjoyed what Yellowknife had to offer since moving here 18 years ago. I have enjoyed living, working, and traveling in the north. I find it fulfilling to be involved in the community and contribute. I have held Vice President level positions at Northwestel for 15 years until I retired in Oct. 2015. While at Northwestel I also held the President position of Ardicom since 2003 and was involved in establishing 4 subsidiary companies with Northern Aboriginal groups. I have been the Chair of the NWT Chamber of Commerce for two terms and the Chair of the Yukon Chamber of Commerce for two terms.Having recently semi retired I have enjoyed working part time with Futurpreneur Canada in support of young and upcoming entrepreneurs. And now onto a second career of sorts learning how to bake commercially at Cobs in Oak Bay.Settling into Victoria as our new community.
