Solutions included mobile ticketing, mobile promotion applications, mobile parking, etc. Mobimatics is a spin-off of from Textus focusing entirely on mobile ticketing for transport.

room33 was pioneering the world of mobile Internet services and was one of the first companies to deliver innovative products and ideas in the then new mobile Internet industry. As Chief Technology Officer at room33, I had the responsibility for the development of mobile applications, technology and the long-term technical vision and strategy of the company. Being part of the Executive Management team, I was involved in investor relations, partner co-ordination, strategic development & planning and also responsible for managing and building up the product development team of room33. In addition, I was responsible for setting up the Cyberlab unit in room33, where over 8-Master research projects, innovation and ideas fed back into product development.

Swedish Institute of Computer Science, SICS, (http://www.sics.se) is an independent non-profit research organisation. At the Swedish Institute of Computer Science I worked in the Human Computer Interaction and Language Engineering Research Laboratory. My research contributed to a Ph.D. in the areas of intelligent information filtering techniques and open architectures with a focus towards small displays and mobile situations. I completed my Licentiate Degree thesis in October 1999 as part of the requirements for the Ph.D.

Broadcom Éireann Research Ltd. was a knowledge-based company operating in research, development and consultancy in telecommunications technology focusing on selected aspects, i.e. Telecommunications Management and Telecommunications Services and Applications. These competencies were used to support Broadcom’s shareholders, Telecom Ireland and Ericsson, in their technological planning and development activities. My main responsibilities while at Broadcom, were Project Co-ordination, Technical Management and Research for Ericsson and Telecom Ireland in Eurescom, ACTS and RACE programmes.
