I Proudly served in the Army National Guard for 9 years as a 68W3O Combat Medic, as a Staff Sergeant that supported numerous missions and trained countless personnel. I separated from the Army in July in 2021 to seek further personal growth and educational opportunities. During my tenure in the Guard I was awarded the Army Accommodation(Arcom), and the Army Achievement Medal(AAM).I am Actively serving as a Lieutenant Paramedic at the Birmingham Fire Department from 2014-current.Below is abbreviated list of Areas of specialized training & expertise to include: 1.)Active Shooter Response, Tactical Combat Casualty care (TCCC) training instructor. 2.) AHA Basic Life Support instructor 3.) ProBoard Certified Fire Inspector, Plans Review, NICET Lvl 1 & 2 for Fire alarms and system service and maintenance.4.) Certified Fire Investigator 5.) Efficient in SmartDraw, Excel, Word, and have created and organized localized Fire and Emergency Response Pre-planning as apart of community risk management.6.)Certified State of Michigan Paramedic with over 12 years of experience. 7.) Associates Degree in Fire Science (6 semester hours away from Bachelor in Fire Administration)While serving as a Firefighter Paramedic at the Birmingham Fire Department i was recognized with (Life Saving award).
