Deployed the battery to Iraq in 2011 with 150 Soldiers in order to close down Forward Operating Base Marez and Diamondback located in Mosul, Iraq. Memorial moments were solving the garrison problems as we rapidly conducted the withdrawl as well as driving 700 miles through Iraq to Kuwait. In 2012 I deployed to Afghanistan as a member of an SFAAT Team. One of the best deployments of my career and it helped being surrounded by talented Officers and Soldiers.

Redeployed all of our Soldiers and had many memories of the battery as they supported operations of deconstruction one of the largest prisons in Iraq. The battery also supported operations with a platoon located in Adder and conduct combat operations. Upon returning to Fort Bliss the battery reset personnel and equipment deploying to the field during the "Freeze Exercise" and going on to having one of the best NTC rotations ever.

Mentored the 10th Iraqi Army Fire Support Officer, in charge of the Southern Iraq Regional Training Center indirect fires fielding and de-conflicted all of the Iraqi indirect fires with maneuver operations both ground and air. Traveled by blackhawk helicopter to work at the TAC 2-3 days a week. Finally I was promoted and off staff work....
