Deployed the battery to Iraq in 2011 with 150 Soldiers in order to close down Forward Operating Base Marez and Diamondback located in Mosul, Iraq. Memorial moments were solving the garrison problems as we rapidly conducted the withdrawl as well as driving 700 miles through Iraq to Kuwait. In 2012 I deployed to Afghanistan as a member of an SFAAT Team. One of the best deployments of my career and it helped being surrounded by talented Officers and Soldiers.
