As an original member of the Cyberscout team, I manage our top cyber global relationships here at TU. I have a wealth of international business experience and have had the privilege of working with partners in Europe, Canada, Middle East, Asia, Latin America, and the US. Having lived as an expat for many years, I understand the unique needs each partner faces within their own country including data protection regulation, licensing requirements, telephony limitations, finding a reinsurance partner, and more. While I enjoy working with our largest clients as they allow us to reach and benefit most policyholders worldwide, I also enjoy collaborating with fast-moving insuretech startups. I started working in cyber in 2016 when I developed and executed a security awareness training program throughout Ireland for 4 years. It was through that experience that I was able to see first hand how cyber risks impact businesses in the agricultural, finance, healthcare, construction, and medical device manufacturing sectors. I believe it is important remove the mystery surrounding cybersecurity and have meaningful conversations where all business stakeholders, including non-technical folks, can participate and understand cyber risks.Personally, I am a champion of the arts and arts education. I'm a supporter of many arts organizations in Galway both on and off stage. Happy to connect with anyone on this topic as well!
