Engineered for open-hole, and focused on optimising log data quality, the Petromac conveyance system is best in its class.We have developed a patented conveyance system that enables sophisticated surveying devices (logging tools) to traverse the most difficult wellbores. Our system comprises a wheeled carrier, or Tool Taxi, that clamps onto the outside of the surveying device, and a guide with a ski tip that fits into the bottom of the device, which is lowered by wire into the wellbore.Our focus is to revolutionise the logging and analysing of wellbores. We provide accurate and detailed information, to descend in situations not penetrable without the Tool Taxi.The Tool Taxi is tried and tested around the world, and we are currently operating in the Gulf of Mexico, Caspian Sea, South China Sea, Kuwait, Ivory Coast and Australasia.

North America

Implemented the Operations Integrity model across Wireline locations in North America, through the use of Standard Work, Competency Assurance and Procedural Adherence.• Applied Operations Integrity principles to Wireline deployment in the Gulf Deep-Water and Alaska, that resulted in a 30% reduction in downtime, and improved efficiency and returns.• Launched major Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives, which resulted in zero recordable incidents for the year, surpassing management expectations and objectives.• Delegated as the APIQ2 Quality Management System global lead for Wireline, and developed the gap analysis and action plan to ensure Wireline compliance by end of 2016.• Achieved zero Radiation, Explosives and Well Integrity compliance incidents across all North America offshore locations, through strict adherence to policies and procedures.

Australasia & Papua New Guinea

Focused on improving Quality and HSE across all Wireline operations in Australasia and Papua New Guinea, through implementation and monitoring of policies, standards and procedures.• Improved efficiency and reduction in downtime across all locations by 20%, through application and auditing of Quality Management Systems.• Developed innovative conveyance solutions and operational procedures to complete Wireline operations on the A$53bn Gorgon Chevron project 10% ahead of time and with zero major incidents.• Improved Safety record and increased reporting rate across all locations through innovative approach, based on managing personal diversity and behaviour.• Managed Wireline Radiation and Explosives compliance across Australasia, and on various remote projects in Papua New Guinea, such as the Hides ExxonMobil LNG Project.

Houston, Texas Area

Developed, marketed and deployed globally new technological innovations, with focus primarily on Wireline cables, conveyance and surface equipment.• Developed StreamLine cable, which has reduced the environmental footprint of operations in North America by eliminating land pollution and decreasing the likelihood of an uncontrolled hydrocarbon leak.• Produced patent for Pump-Down Logging Head, which focusses on improving efficiency and reducing risk in hydraulic fracturing horizontal wells.• Developed high-strength polymerized cables, which have seen a 60% increase in available wireline tension, thereby reducing the number of fishing operations to a record low of 0.4% of total descents in the Gulf of Mexico. • Designed Wireline logging tool conveyance accessories, which have allowed wireline logging in wells up to angles of 70deg, with a 30% reduction in tools becoming differentially stuck downhole.

Turkmenistan & Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia

Managed all Wireline operations in Turkmenistan, before moving to the same role covering the East Russia region. Extremely diverse and challenging both technically and logistically, and encompassing an area larger than the United States.• Managed simultaneous large-scale operations on Sakhalin Island and throughout East Siberia, with a team of over 100 local and international staff on offshore and onshore installations.• Developed strong working relationships between local geophysical companies throughout the region, and liaised between client departments and internal resources to deliver results from project conception to completion.• Implemented new technology, in the domains of conveyance and reservoir sampling, on Sakhalin Island, resulting in a 25% year on year revenue increase, versus an objective of 15%.• Designed innovative procedures in order to successfully perforate the Chayvo world record 40,000ft wells off Sakhalin island for ExxonMobil.

Tengiz, Kazakhstan

• Managed a workforce of around 60 local and international staff, whilst developing local recruitment procedures and employee incentive programs.• Delivered full and complete development data to the client, in addition to reducing the downtime by 15% year on year, in a very challenging high pressure and corrosive environment.• Oversaw record financial year in this location not only in terms of Revenue but also Return, with a 40% increase over the preceding year.• Instrumental in the introduction of new technology to a traditionally low-tech market: increasing the reserve recovery potential for the client in a Bonus/Malice relationship.
