Principal Security And Operations Engineer
Current• Manage a DevOps team's growth and development.• Vulnerability Management. Identify, manage, and remediate vulnerabilities across entire environment, including Docker containers.• Oversee resource planning and deployment for cloud resources, office infrastructure, and equipment.• Systems administration for Linux and Windows environments, both for desktop and server systems, encompassing both on-premise and cloud-based setups.• Software development using various technologies, including Java, BASH, PHP, QuickMacros, .NET, C/C++, LUA, and React/NodeJS, VBA, and C#. Primarily focused on Java but write and maintain all of the above.• Master troubleshooter.• Point of escalation for sales and support for complex situations that can't be resolve through normal channels.• Extensive Docker and Kubernetes architecture, development, administration, and deployment; specifically within Google Compute and Google Kubernetes. Including clustering architecture for multiple environments.• Provide round-the-clock support for production.• Develop, deploy, and administer purpose-built backup and monitoring systems.• Architect, build, deployment of cloud resources including RabbitMQ, Redis, storage, NFS, and VMs.• Experience with multiple Linux distributions and extensively utilize BASH scripting. This also involves Wine-based deployments, XRDP, web-based RDP sessions, etc.• Performed migration of on-premise domain controller to Azure, followed by continuing policy administration via Endpoint, AAD, Protection/Defender, etc.• Microservices configuration, deployment, monitoring. In addition, RabbitMQ, MariaDB, Redis, and other critical system management.• Desktop support for Windows environments, including cloud based GPO; as well as Windows server administration.In my role as Principal, I continue to provide expertise and leadership in these areas while contributing to the strategic direction and high-level decision-making of the organization.
