The work covered by the team involves 2nd Line Support of all the company’s systems resolving a majority before passing problems over to the 3rd line team responsible. Working in an ITIL environment managing incidents, requests, problems and changes. Liaising and managing 3rd parties with specific focus on HPE CDS who provide the physical hardware maintenance for our server estate. As Regional IT Support Manager I am responsible for the IT systems in the Trusts 80 homes and the support provided to them, managing engineers in the four regions that the Trust operates in. These responsibilities include network infrastructure, telephony systems and the local systems used by the home staff. Ensuring that the homes have stable and reliable systems to support the 24-hour operation of the homes. In addition to this I am responsible for the management of our contracts with 3rd party suppliers covering our MPLS, fixed telephone and mobile phone services.

Senior IT Officer - The Orders of St. John Care Trust (Apr. 2015 – Aug. 2016) – Employed as an interim Senior IT Officer to cover the Oxfordshire region following the departure of the permanent member of staff. Providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for the Oxfordshire regional office and all the companies Nursing and Residential Care homes in the region. 2nd Line Infrastructure Analyst - Hewlett Packard / SSE (Jul. 2014 – Mar. 2015) – Contracting for Hewlett Packard on site at SSE providing 2nd Line support and project support for the current ‘Microsoft Program’ project, a phased deployment incorporating the migration from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange / Outlook, the upgrade of desktop services to Microsoft Windows 7 and Office 2010 and the planned move to Microsoft Sharepoint to replace various user based systems. Embedded in the SSE 2nd Line Infrastructure Support team to provide additional resource and Microsoft expertise and training during the rollouts of these new technologies. Deployment Engineer - Maritime and Coastguard Agency (May 2014 – Jun. 2014) – Windows 8 deployment engineer, involved in the building and preparation of new equipment and the installation and deployment to the end user.Deployment Engineer - Arqiva (Feb. 2014 – May 2014) – Working at the Head Office site in Winchester and around the country as part of the Desktop Transformation Team migrating the companies user base from Windows XP to Windows 7. Migrating User Accounts via Active Directory and the build and installation of new and rebuilt equipment to the wider user base. Interim IT Manager - Laverstoke Park Farm (Oct. 2013 – Nov. 2013) - As a self-employed Contractor I was employed by Laverstoke Park Farm as IT Manager on an interim basis whilst they were looking for someone to fill the role on a permanent basis.
