Hi I’m Mary and I'd like to tell you about myself.I am passionate about our community and working hard to include every body in life. I have wide and varied experience having working in the World Bank, Bank of Ireland and Rowing Ireland giving me a unique perspective on work and life. I am numerate and financially literate. I have strong organisational and communication skills. I like to work in teams but am also motivated to work on my own initiative.During the pandemic, I have successfully completed a PRINCE2® Practitioner and Foundation Certificate in Project Management and a Microsoft Office Specialist - Microsoft Excel (Office 2016) - Advanced and Intermediate. I have completed an Irish Times Training/Springboard Personal & Professional Development QQI Level 6 course.I am also involved in my local community as Chairperson on the Coist Cairde in my daughter's primary school and on the parent's council in my other children's secondary school. I believe community is what you make it and that it is important to give back.I strongly believe in the importance of participation in sport by all, but particularly girls and women. It is important to have women involved in all levels of sport to be visible role models for younger girls.
