For over two decades, I served as the CEO of JANCOA Janitorial Services, a family-owned and certified WBE commercial cleaning company. I spearheaded the development of the Dream Engineer, a world-renowned initiative that helps people rediscover and pursue their dreams. The result boosts commitment and engagement for everyone. I also authored the book Changing Direction, sharing my personal story of triumph and transformation with 10 practical choices to impact one's dreams.Today our second generation now owns and operates JANCOA with more than 500 full-time employees. As I transition from my role at JANCOA, I have redirected my focus towards inspiring others as a professional speaker and author. Through my talks and writing, I aim to ignite audiences to harness their strengths, chase their dreams, and embrace a mindset of gratitude.I have also served as an Associate Coach with Strategic Coach for more than 20 years, guiding entrepreneurs through quarterly workshops in Chicago. Being a client of Strategic Coach for more than 30 years as deeply influences my approach to business and life. This program instilled in me the invaluable practice of pausing, reflecting, and planning on a quarterly basis. This practice was instrumental in shaping JANCOA and the inception of the Dream Engineer.Beyond my professional endeavors, I've been privileged to contribute to various community boards, each dedicated to enhancing lives and uplifting communities. Noteworthy recognitions, such as the YWCA Career Women of Achievement, Cincinnatus Society, EY Entrepreneur of the Year - Lifetime Achievement, The Goering Center Family Business Hall of Fame, and the Cincinnati Business Hall of Fame serve as humbling acknowledgements of the collective efforts of our team at JANCOA.Retiring from JANCOA in January 2023 marked the commencement of my second act - a new chapter dedicated to pursuing my dreams, ignite joy and inspire others to do the same. As I embark on this journey, I eagerly anticipate connecting with individuals like you as we navigate towards Act 3 together.
