Operations Manager, Fraud And Re-RatesFuzion Oct 2010 - Dec 2013Carmel, InDue to my knowledge and leadership skills, I earned a promotion to the position of Operations Manager overseeing the Rate Increase and Fraud department. In my role, I was successful in implementing the Fuzion rate increase plan over the course of 3 years obtaining 80% approval rate resulting in over $200 million in additional premium. In addition, during this time I established an anti-fraud program for Fuzion which had not existed prior to this role. The program included an in house fraud examiner, an anti-fraud hotline, and a presence at the long term care anti-fraud forum. Also during this time, I was key member of a team that developed and implemented the first automated long-term care anti-fraud rules engine. -

Call Center Rep/Claim AdjusterConseco Oct 2003 - Dec 2005Carmel, InWhen I began in long term care insurance at Conseco (now CNO Financial), I worked in the call center fielding phone calls from insurance policyholders regarding their policies. At this time, I gained a deep knowledge regarding long term care insurance and was able to move throughout the company quickly and easily picking up skills along the way. In addition to the call center, I processed claims and then later responded to complaints, appeals and attorney questions in the risk management department. At this time, I also assisted the claims department and the team with any questions that would help in mitigating risk to the company.
